These deals are not surprising to anyone, but now we are sure what the cap situation is.

I think the isles are done for the offseason, excluding potential PTOs (Sonny Milano, Ryan Murray?)

I think if the Isles are to make a big trade, it will be if they are contending at the deadline, similar to there situation when they dealt for Pageau and Palmieri/Zajac.

Please don’t flame me VAN fans. Read the description of the trade and try and keep an open mind.

I know Vancouver fans won’t like this and frankly based off the value we’ve seen in trades for him on this page I’m in agreement, but guys always get traded for less IRL than we expect them to here on CapFriendly. If Vancouver is struggling and the Isles are competing (not a guarantee, simply a hypothetical), this could be a potential package for him as he would walk from VAN for nothing on July 1st.

If the canucks are out of a playoff spot by the TDL and Miller has indicated that he would like to be traded, what do you think is the most he would fetch? Just for more context, let’s say he’s playing right around his average PPG pace during his time in Vancouver (1.07 ppg) and has 60 points at the TDL. My guess is a roster player, a 1st round pick, a 2nd, and then maybe a prospect(s)/mid round pick(s)

My guess is he costs to premium assets. There needs to be two of: A top 4 RHD (Not Mayfield, the more I’ve thought about it the less i think that will work) a top prospect (some guy that will become a top 4 D or top 6 forward) or a 2023 first. Maybe a roster player if need be for cap space maybe something else. But I imagine a Miller trade is on those lines
