Cates should be playing. Last year he showed he was the readiest of our young players.
Farabee should be in the Top 6. IMO he's the 2nd most talented of the forwards.

Although i agree with both of the things you have here, why is Laughton on the top line? Why does Patrick Brown have a spot over younger guys like Lacynski or even Willman?

Fedotov unfortunately will be on an army base for a year, so he is ruled out. You also know you have Cates as a scratch even though you said you want him to be playing?

A lot of confusion here with the lineup.

Laughton on the top line makes sense to me he can play anywhere in the lineup really. He is a good enough skater to keep up and is a smart player.
I'm not sure if you think I made this ACGM when you said "You also know you have Cates as a scratch even though you said you want him to be playing?" but I didn't.
I think Lazynski should have the 4C spot but that job will be won in camp.
