Description

My overrated thread touched a few fragile nerves. Hopefully we will be a little more tame in here.

A few comments:

Lafreniere is indeed underrated simply because I’ve lost count of the amount of users declaring him a bust, which is beyond ridiculous.

Sillinger is one of the best ELC forwards in the league and he deserves as much or more praise than others people here mention constantly mention Knies who hasn’t seen NHL ice but is an untouchable prospect according to the usual suspects of Leaf land.

Scheifele is on here because the guy is a point plus per game player and the hate on him is beyond reasonable all because some media mouthpieces have claimed he’s a bad guy and because he doesn’t play defence. However, I’m sure these same people have loved plenty of cherry pickers past or present.

And Letang… the guy is probably the best defenceman of his generation to not win a Norris but I’ve lost count of the silly comments about him on here and other parts of the hockey world.

Samuelsson is a good pick. It seems almost every non-Sabres fan that makes a Sabres ACGM scratches him, but he ended the season playing very well for the Sabres on their top pair.
