Lineup below is how the Blues should start the season.
- Neighbours seems to be ready to make the jump to the NHL.
- Give Bolduc a shot for at least 9 games.
- If Bolduc is sent back to the Q, call up Kostin to play 4 RW alongside Walker and Acciari until Toropchenko returns from his injury.

Looking ahead, Blues should take a 3-step approach to the 2023 offseason.
- $11M spent between Kyrou and Barbashev/another 3C. Example: Kyrou $7.5-8M for 8 years and Barbashev/other 3C $3-3.5M for 2 years.

- $8.25M spent between O’Reilly, Toropchenko, and Perunovich.
Example: O’Reilly $5.8M for 4 years, Toropchenko $1.05M for 3 years, and Perunovich $1.4M for 1 year.

- With the remaining $3,095,000 in cap space, Blues need to resign Kostin/Brown, Hofer, Woo/Extra Forward, and keep wiggle room for up to $732,500 in overages.
Example: Kostin $825k for 2 years, Hofer $775k for 2 years, and recall Peca/Bitten (who both have $762.5k with 1 year remaining).
