Quality 2C, vet in the locker room, RHD prospect, late pick to swing big on. Added the 2nd just because I'm not totally sold on Barron being anything more than a middle pairing guy. Hope he proves me wrong.

PLD would get more as a rental from a contender than MTL giving up this much, switch Barron with Norlinder and keep the 2nd and that would be a fair deal if it was from MTL. Barron does have the slight chance of being a top pairing but he'll be a great top 4 dman. while Norlinder pretty much needs a new home as he doesnt fit the new management. potential top 4d but top 6 dman.

They're also not in a position of power in the negotations, but they could get more from a contender. Lets say 2 late first with a 2nd and a B+ prospect from a contender but def less from MTL.
