I hear you. If I’m not mistaken, Boeser signed well below his QO on his recent extension with Vancouver. 1 year at a higher number can be weighed against multiple years at a lower one.

That said the point of the AGM was more to spitball numbers. Lots of Sens fans more concerned with how Sanderson’s next contract will fit even though that’s 2+ years out. Even if Cat comes in at 9, I still think there’s a way to make everything work.
