That trade is a longshot but I was going off of what anaheim needs in terms of adding salary and its 2 serviceable mid 6 forwards for not a ton return.

Yeah we aren’t using draft capital to try and get to the floor, we will gain capital by taking other teams bad contracts and we will be just fine

Anaheim needs players who can help them win in their window to compete, which is in ~3 years. Neither of them address that. If anything, Palmieri especially locking up almost $4M after the retention would be an anchor
