If they were going to collect all those picks, why not try to get Hischier or Patrick? Those are the only two who could have significant NHL impact next season. Just a thought. Also need to buyout FB.

Obviously I'm biased here, but I wouldn't take that trade. I'm not saying it's unfair, but I have no faith Duchene re signs with us, whereas I get a sense Barzal is excited to play for us down the stretch.

Good point. Could try but they could get the #1 defenseman and solid wingers instead which would be better IMO. Plus with MacKinnon, Barzal, and Vilardi they wouldn't really need Patrick at center imo
