According to JBB, which makes no sense to me he is stilling trying to sign Rutta, and Meyers will be playing.

With both of them signed you’d be paying 2.5 for a bottom paring d, which I’m not sure you have the money to do.

You’d also be taking time away from Foote if you sign both of them? Is he going to be traded ?

?????? That's still just 7 Dmen. Why would you trade one, because you're going to have to get another. The bigger question is Myers. He was waived last season with no takers. Is he worthy of 2.5m contract?
But why do you believe what JB says at a press conference? Of course he says publicly "that he wants to retain both Myers and Ruutu". Doesn't mean that is his plan.
