There's no way that package works for Minnesota. Additionally, I'm a little confused with what is happening with Vegas there.

And I feel like Eichel gets more than that, he's a budding superstar.

My rationale to your queries:

Vegas - I want them to take Moulson but I do not want to give up a 3rd round pick to make it happen. I used a young goaltender who I do not think will be in Botterill's plan and a 6th round pick

Minnesota - they will need to relieve cap pressure as well as move a D as it relates to the expansion draft. The Wild also have no picks in Round 1&2. You are probably correct it may not be enough....

Eichel - he is and will be an RFA. He only has so much leverage he will be able to use in the process. $7,250,000 average per year over 7 years makes him the highest paid player on the roster. The 7 year term takes him to age 28 and then he gets a bite at the UFA market. As you stated 'budding'...... he is not at the $10,000,000 level production yet.

I think you've got a good starting point with Minnesota on their end, but Foligno is probably a fourth liner on a decent team, Brady Austin doesn't project to be much more than an injury call-up at this point, and D-Lo is just useless.

Eichel's next contract should be interesting and I'm obviously just spitballing. Speculation seems to have McDavid landing around $11mil per, so I'm expecting Eichel to be in the 8-9 range. I'm figuring that $15mil is a reasonable expectation for getting both Eichel and Reinhart locked up long term, but we'll see.
