Patrick Marleau cost a 1st to dump for 1 year at 6.25 mil. Murray is that pay over 2 years. Yes, he wouldn’t be bought out and instead be an actual player but he sure as hell isn’t worth close to 6.25. A 3rd doesn’t do it

The Habs deal is not bad but I think we would rather have another prospect than a late 2nd, perhaps someone like Sokolov.

Forgot to add that murray would be 50% retained by sens. Murray at just over 3 mill isn’t the worse deal in the league, especially if leafs are retooling in nets, as murray has been a great goalie in the past. a better team in front of him might be what he needs to get his game back
