Yes, Seattle could use a puck-moving defenseman, but Barrie's playing style is not a fit for Seattle (at 4.5 million/season, especially) and adding him would only be a serious option much later in the off-season, IMO. Francis has made draft picks priority one, to build this team through the draft. To improve his roster Seattle DOES have ample cap space to do so. This is Plan A. Pass on Barrie.
