This projection is based on who I think has earned the spot based on performance this year, not based on who I think Hockey Canada will select (also I am assuming LA will not release Byfield). Had to leave out several quality players, but this just shows how deep the WJC teams for August and December/January will be.

I question whether or not any of those guys pushing for NHL roster spots will deviate from their summer training to participate. What does a guy like Johnson have to gain by attending when he has played in the NHL, Olympics and world championship since the world Juniors last year?
