Burns for Barrie hmm Oilers fan suggestion

Seems like most Oiler fans are looking for a way to get out of the Tyson Barrie contract. I totally get it but will need to add a lot of sweetener.
Best bet may be to move him to the Coyotes along with a 2nd + for a 7th in return. Arizona has been taking on bad contracts so that might be the way out.

Arizona can’t afford anymore bad contracts though, playing in tiny 6K stadium cuts their attendance but more than half, that’s a lot of cash off the table next 2-3 years. i expect them to take on a lot of old contracts with high cap hit but low actual
dollars to try and stay just above the cap floor for at least 1-2 years.

san jose would have to eat major salary and the oilers need to add a younger player and good pick to compensate. the oilers can't afford to add to their cap issues rn

Oilers need to move salary out in order to resign their forwards.
