Make the best possible team of players who are steals. Steals at where they were drafted, steal of a deal, steal from a trade etc. Players who have already signed an extension to a deal with a higher cap hit are not allowed (Barkov, Couturier, Point etc.). Players who have already signed an extension to a lesser cap hit than they currently have are allowed (Pavelski, Kotkaniemi etc.). Maximum of 3 ELC’s. Cap can’t exceed 81.5 mil. Also, no more than 3 player per team.
i dont think zegras should be considered a steal at 10Overall
Considering he probably should have gone 1OA with how he is performing, I would say he is a steal that he fell to 9OA. The only other candidates that can be seriously considered for 1OA in that draft are Hughes and Seider. We can just say agree to disagree and leave at that. You have your opinion and I have mine.

its alright, i just felt he was standing out a bit in your team, being that he would just have been picked something around 6 to 8 spot higher. but its your team! like you said you do what you want!

Don’t we all do what we want on here? Joking aside, I have had some conversations with guys that were not as happy with their picks and that they should have selected Zegras instead. Zegras and Seider have been amazing out the gate, and Hughes has really heated his game up as well after a rather slow start. After all, the difference between 1 and 9 could very well be a generational talent versus a bust. It depends. Great example is Yakupov being a bust at 1OA and Pavelski being a diamond in the rough.
- Tage Thompson (tied with Terry for best cost per goal of players on a contract more than 1 mil in value)
- Victor Olofsson (181st overall draft pick)
