Unless Drury can't get either Strome or Copp extended, I think the ship has sailed regarding Miller to NYR. Without an additional move regarding Panarin, Trouba, or Kreider - they're just not going to have the ability to extend him...and for them another guy who'd be starting an expensive long term contract at 30 is probably not a good idea anyway.

Would be crazy to trade Miller before the TDL. Give yourself a chance to make playoffs with the only weapon you had this season and if all fails then move him for a similar package at the TDL. He isn’t going anywhere before that.
