Zaitsev bought out cause it's probably cheaper and I don't like the idea of a team getting rid of future assets if they are not done building. Also three years for Formenton. Also give Meyer some pretty big signing bonuses to get him to consider this young core of really good college players and one that also has one of the best development coaches in Troy Mann.

I don't think they have the cap space but someone will correct me if I'm wrong. But to be fair he hasn't shown much promise and he may want out of Chicago after their investigations and him not really playing a prime role.

If they don't match I think that the second line would catch fire as Burakovsky is the sniper on the line that will pot in goals left and right with Stutzle setting up everybody. I also think that Dach will be a great power forward creating space for both of them. He would also get mentored by Brady Tkatchuk.

Also gotta start a tradition of third overall picks getting oversheeted.................

Fiala is still my fav acquisition but I don’t mind offersheeting Kakko lol just to mess with the rangers

Or Dach? Also what do you think of the team. I think that you could mess with the lines and throw in some young guys but if Forsberg has a year like this year and Soggard or Gus take a big step then it could be a team that does some damage in the regular season and could upset Washington, Pitsburgh, or Boston for a wild card spot. Don't see them surpassing Toronto, Florida, or Tampa though especially if they are all like this year.

No, wait not, Stutzle.

They for sure will have enough cap. And even if they don't, they'll trade othe r players to match it.
So what if he wants out of Chicago? Eventually Chicago decides to either match or not match him. They wouldn't trade him for a 2nd, he's not getting offersheeted for a 2nd.
I think Chicago would consider a dach for kaako + 3rd trade, though.
