Severson for Boeser

I don’t understand the 2nd trade with the 1st round pick?

As for Boeser for Severson; Devils would have to add due to the age difference. If they were both the same age it would be fair.

2nd trade is showing Devils drafting Nemec with 2022 first (not meant to be an actual trade)

Age difference isn't much, only 2 years. And Severson has been much better than Boeser this year. It shouldn't be much of an add

Severson turns 28 this year so 3 year difference. Ya Boeser had a rough start to the year but all of the Canucks were bad early in the season. He’s been much better as of late. I don’t know if Severson has been better than Boeser, haven’t watched the Devils tbh but hard to compare different positions. I agree it wouldn’t be a huge add but Devils will have to add

It's a decent proposal. I think if Severson was willing to sign at a reasonable savings to what Boeser is asking it would make even more sense to Canucks. Do Devil's fans have an idea what he might be asking or for or what you think he might be worth?

Age difference is a fair argument (giving Boeser more value)
But the Canucks being bad isn't really a good argument since the Devils are a worse team than them
Its hard comparing different positions but its concerning for Boeser that Severson has more points than him as a dman
Maybe a small add like Kuokkanen or a pick would be enough
