Honestly why not, as pathetic as it sounds he'd probably be the best bottom six player the Jets would have if they did claim him ..😆.. Apparently Brooks was on the 2nd line with Dubois and Connor at practice yesterday... 🤦♂️🤷♂️😆..Yes that's how bad it is at the moment.
Dzingel would add a bit of speed to the 3rd or 4th line and if he doesn't work out who cares, could maybe get a late round pick for him at the deadline if there's any interest or if he plays well and the Jets are missing the playoffs which is whats likely to happen anyway.
Send Vesalainen down as he's still waiver exempt and send Gustafsson down too to help the Moose make the playoffs, both of them and the organization will be better off in the long run for it especially Vesalainen who needs to get some confidence back by scoring some goals, a demotion at this point isn't going to hurt his confidence as it's gotta be pretty low already, hanging around on the Jets 3rd/4th lines with offensive black hole linemates isn't doing him any good.
Put Svech back with PLD and Connor already, it worked fairly well earlier in the season, why not give it another try when nothing much else seems to be working?! Ugh, Lowry is just another Maurice it seems.
Send Poganski back to the AHL where he belongs, very Mauriceesque to play a guy on the 3rd line who's done nothing in the minutes he's played and is clearly an AHL level talent, old man Lowry learned lots from Maurice.. lol
Anyway I'm sure the time has past to claim Dzingel by the time I post this and he'll be with the Marlies.. haha
How sad is it that Brooks and Dzingel over a full 82 games would be 22 point players which would make them the highest producing guys on the Jets bottom six??.. 🤣
I know someone will point out Copp and/or Stastny as having more but the majority of those guys points have come while playing in the top 6 or on the powerplay.
I know "points aren't everything" but man it'd sure be nice and make a difference to see something from the bottom two lines that's more then just wasting time trying not to get scored on.

Yup. I'm coming around to your line of thinking for sure. The Jets have gone far too long with a bottom six that can't put up anything point wise. I think as much as you don't like him, the Jets are stuck with Lowry in the bottom six, but with Copp likely pricing himself out of Winnipeg, his spot and the remainder in the bottom six needs to be revamped and should be up for grabs.
They have to try something different lineup wise, as what the Jets currently are running obviously doesn't work.
