The D isn't perfect but it isn't the main issue. Campbell being bad is making it look worse than it is. Need skill that can play mean in front of their net, and Kase is too inconsistently in the lineup to rely on.

Besides, the Leafs will still have roughly 1.5 mil to spend on another add in this scenario as we are projected to get around 1 mil in deadline space

Leafs have been doing it for the last year and a half. I don't see the issue. Worst case you play a man short for a day. big wup. Many teams have already this year

My understanding is Toronto hasn't gone below 21 this year
