The 2nd deal is bad. Besides the fact that Russo reported wild aren't interested in any of the strome brother's, you are trading a high pick for a d player whose not needed ) when fully healthy, no one is coming out.
- the reason Minnesota keeps players like Rask and benn are , they know who they are, and those players don't get mad when they have to sign out 10 games, games, etc before playing again

When did he say they weren't interested in any strome brothers?? And come on where's this high draft pick?? I gave up a 2nd which isn't high. if you can't tell by the way I set up the lines these are depth moves. You will need depth players for a playoff run. I'm starting to get the feeling with you that your completely happy with the team and don't make any moves which yes I can see them doing but to continually say these trades are no good and wouldn't help the teams and trading "high picks" is getting to be ridiculous. I get not wanting to trade first but you need to trade stuff of value to gain players to help push this team. a 2nd 3 n 4 round picks aren't that great yes you could hit someone great but it's probably more often then not those players don't make the nhl.

As for the strome thing; it was at his last podcast taping. I get the depth thing, but if wild trade for any d, it would be for one who will.sit in press box. As for Dylan strome, he's worth at best 3rd-4th round pick.

I can’t imagine Schenn is worth more that a 4th or 5th alone. I do think he would be a solid depth move for a playoff run though.
