They're playing a lot better structurally as a team recently. The loss of star power will make it hard to score a lot of nights, but they're miles ahead of where they were in October and November. They're getting goaltending, their defense better than it has been in years, and they've been getting offensive contributions from their depth guys.

I’m actually really impressed with how well they have adapted to the hardships they have been dealt. Hopefully we get a chance to see White and Pinto before the season ends.

Dorion said the expected return for Colin White is February 26th vs Montreal, which if that holds up, White will get a good 30 some odd games this season, which is great news.

Pending a consultation for a 2nd opinion about surgery, Josh Norris is expected out for about another month, and Pinto will be reevaluated in mid March. It's not out of the question that we get the better part of a month with all three in the lineup by the end of the year.
