Makiniemi is probably the one to go in a situation both Freddie and Rants are hurt, and he could be better than Korpisalo as it is... plus Beck Warm is healthy now too, so they have the depth to not need Korpisalo.

You're going on a VERY unlikely scenario that both goaltenders get hurt. It's far more likely one if not both are ready to go for the playoffs. Plus, Carolina could go .500 from here and hit 100 points, so it's not like they're going to force either of them to play if they're not healthy and up to it.
