Which is precisely why an all-in-type move makes zero sense! They need to stay the course and wait! An all-in move now just sets the clock back a couple more years!

I don't mind them going all in this year, because I think this is the best team they'll have in awhile. But it has to be all in, not just one spot. Get a goalie, a top-6 center, and a big and physical 2nd pair d-man. Get Hertl/Grioux, Chychrun, and MAF for example.

Stay the course and they just waste all of the Kaprizov years. The Spurgeon contract handcuffs the team as much as the buyouts do.
