Klefbom to return

Eichel is supposed to be back by the Olympic break. They can trade Dadonov or Smith to fit under the cap

Where are you reading this? I haven't seen one report that has been a positive for Klefbom for the last year and a half... Anywhere I have seen his name come up is saying he may never play again- it sounds as ominous as the Bishop situation in Dallas did... I mean if he can come back healthy and play 100% for it! But it hasn't sounded all that positive... If so, the cap moves would be to rid Koskinen in ANYWAY- should they be able to trust Smith stays healthy the rest of the way, then put Turris on Waivers to send to the minors, and either hope he gets picked up or clears $1.05 in cap space, that would give more than enough relief...

Personally I think it's a long-shot that he returns, but it's possible that he's thinking seriously about it. It is workable from a cap standpoint I'm sure, but I'd think the Oilers want to use anyn cleared cap space to add something that was less of an unknown at the deadline... with Klefbom not having played in a long time, there's a lot of risk that he can't get up to speed fast enough to help the team this year.

What's the source on this? I've heard rumblings as well. I'd assume he'd get a conditioning stint in the AHL prior to coming up.
