Description
I know it's probably impossible to trade for Duchene without giving up Faulk/Slavin/Pesce/Hanifin, but I think two future NHL D-men plus a top 10 pick (likely 9th or 10th at this point) may be getting closer, especially if the Avs want to go the "full rebuild" route.

I know some people seem to be down on Bean, but I still him as having the potential to be a poor-man's Erik Karlsson. Makes Barrie expendable too imo.

Gee, you compare Bean to Karlsson and you still trade him? Duchene only has two years left in his contract, why would the Canes give up some futures for him. And you gotta ask...what has Duchene really done with a out of playoff team like the Avs?,.... they're still an out of playoffs team. Surely the Canes can spend 6m better than Duchene without giving up assets.
As a CapFriendly fan. Why are 75% of the Duchene trades made to the Canes? Can't the other 29 teams share in the Duchene trade?

Ive seen some Duchene trade ideas to MTL, but the problem is MTL fans dont want to let go of either Sergachev or McCarron, making a deal impossible. Same with other teams; either they dont have the young talent to give, or they wont want to give

Gotta think that the Avs may end up having to hold onto one or both of these guys into next season to try to get their value up.
