Where did you hear that? Because as a Ducks fan, I've seen nothing of the sort. If he had broken his hand punching a wall, or had some other outrageous injury, sure, but Manson has been one of the hardest working Ducks since he came into the league. Bob Murray and the Ducks *LOVE* Josh Manson. I feel like the Friedman quote was something along the lines of "Your wife doesn't love you as much as the Ducks love Josh Manson".

That being said, Ducks fans recognize that Manson's value isn't where it used to be. This is probably along the lines of where the return would be, however unless they see Juolevi as more than he has been, I'm not sure that it's a fit. Behind Fowler and Lindholm, the left side of the d-core is already packed with similar so/so guys, such as Larsson, Mahura, Curran, Benoit (Who really stepped up last year), and Guhle. Juolevi probably sits somewhere in the middle of that, so sure, he might see some playing time, but realistically he's not really a fit at this time. Would likely have to be a RD coming back.

Dont remember exactly where just remember it was talked about alot by some top reporters, it wasnt that they were frustrated/unhappy i guess poor word choice on my part, i think they are concerned with his recent injury history. Multiple concussions and other noteworthy injuries, I think they realize his career is going to be alot shorter than they may have thought and are going to get out ahead of it. There were rumors until he got hurt going into last years TDL the ducks were potentially shopping him around. would be interesting to see if he gets moved if the ducks arent in a spot to make the playoffs.

Oh for sure. I don't really see them not listening on him. The reported ask last year was a 1st+good prospect, which we can all agree was wayyyy too much for a guy that ended up playing 23 games last year. That being said, I've been banging on the "Don't trade him unless you get overpaid!" drum all summer. Worst case, you *might* lose him for nothing in the offseason, but you're also getting a year of him on the back end to ease the strain, and eat the tougher minutes instead of throwing Drysdale to the wolves. There are benefits to keeping veteran players during a rebuild, and not hanging your young guys out to dry.

I dont think they move him until they have to. Nothing says there cant be a reunion in the offseason either. Im just saying overall team building, if the ducks get to the deadline and they realistically dont have a shot at contention, you have to make that move regardless of price. something is better than nothing long-term.
