Vijay, quick question as you're our resident Panthers expert:

What is Gildon's value? I'd be very interested in Edmonton acquiring him as he showed really well with Bakersfield. I'd look to start with an offer of Benson. I think the administration change from Chiarelli to Holland has left him on the outside of their plans and that he's still very much a league-ready third-line winger. I think his cost-effectiveness might be something the Panthers value. Is it close?

It does not make much sense for us to trade Gildon... We have a pretty big hole in LD and have no true top defensive prospects, and we certainly don't need more forwards like benson as our F core is stacked

I'm guessing that we plan to rotate him, Ludvig, and Kiersted in the NHL at some point in the season like when we have injuries or someone else isn't performing

Anyway, Ludvig is on his ELC, which is the ultimate form of cost effectiveness
