lots of quantity for quality, sharks pass i think Hertl is worth more than Dvorak and Dvorak asking is a 1st round caliber prospect, a 1st, to start with. if this is valid I just can’t see the sharks (who have no desire to trade Hertl btw) giving up
hertl for any less than a 1st, 2nd, top tier prospect and a middle 6RW. and if you feel this is crazy then it’s ok cause we’re in a position where if no one wants to give that up then we just keep him since he’s a fan favorite and likes san jose anyways.

If we were gonna pay that for a center we would have kept Danault
We do have a need for sure but i dont think MB is willing to go over 5m at max
Dvorak would be the ideal target to round up as like Danault he is a top 10 NHL Faceoff Center (more frequently then Danault actually)

If you're gonna target someone he makes sense especially given Bill Armstrong is selling the team for picks
He drafted Quality on at all levels in the draft over the years and he's looking to do that with ARZ unlike any other GM to date.
Given his desire for future pieces and willingness to take cap dumps for better picks he's an ideal partner for a team looking to re-tool for a SCF return
