Avs say no. Carlo/McAvoy or no deal. Avs have no pressure whatsoever to trade Landeskog, so unless you offer up Carlo/McAvoy, they're not going to take it.

Considering the Bruins prospect depth, Donato and Sherman are expendable BUT they have enough value that in addition to Spooner, Zboril, and a 1st, the asking price is too high for Landeskog. I wouldn't make that deal. I like Landeskog as a player, but the names and numbers being thrown around for a guys having a dismal season is unsettling. If the B's wanna give up Cehlarik or Heinen, Zboril or Lauzon, and one or two lower-end prospects like Donato, Sherman, Fitzgerald, Grzelcyk, Cave, Hughes, or Clarke, that's fine. Anything more and I would back out.

I disagree. While maybe not Landy in particular, there is definitely pressure on the Avs to make moves, and the moves that bring the best future results are Landy, Duchene and Barrie.



After seeing him click with Krecji, I would hold off on trading Cehlarik, especially where he can be used on both wings. I'd like to see what he can do throughout the rest of the season before making a move on him. And to your first point. I think we have enough Center depth that Donato might never really get his shot here, so if he can be used for Landy I pull that trigger.

Totally agree with you, there certainly is pressure. All I was getting at was that there's no pressure to rush a move. If they don't get what they want, they can easily just wait. Odds are one, if not more, of Landy, Duchene, Barrie, and Johnson will be moved before or at the draft.
