This may come out sounding douchey, and it's not meant to.... What's your fascination with Szwarz? Just curious why you'd prefer an AHL lifer on the 3rd line over a Cehlarik (4th line), Czarnik (4th line) or calling up a Kuraly to play on the 4th line, thus bumping up one of the other two? As you know, he's on an AHL deal, so you'd have to use a contract slot on him. I don't know where the Bruins are for contracts right now, but if they want to get someone signed (McAvoy, JFK, Bjork, etc.) I don't think it's wise to waste one on Szwarz, even if it's only a 1 year thing.

Also, just nitpicking, that is a lot of draft picks in a very weak draft. I'd personally look to upgrade on some picks and get 2018 picks instead. Example would be instead of trading for a 2017 5th, try for a 2018 4th?

I wouldn't call it a fascination, I've just been able to see him in Providence a few times this year, and he's looked decent in our system down there. So I feel it couldn't hurt to at least try him out at the big club under Cassidy, who ran the system he's doing well in. Czarnik I left on the 4th here because he's done better playing center than on the wing this year IMO, so I'd rather have him play 4th line C, than play out of position on the 3rd, but that's just me. I think contract wise we sit around 46 (could be wrong) so I think we have a few contracts to play with still. If there's only enough for the 3 college kids you mentioned, then it would definitely be another Prov player already under contract, such as Kuraly.

And yeah, I would definitely round up some of the late round picks for more early/mid round, but I was more just going for player-involved trades here.

I'm assuming these are post expansion draft moves otherwise you just exposed Marchand to expansion draft. Teams must expose 2 FW under contract next year that played in 40 games this year or 70 in the last 2. Bruins have 7 that fit that. You just traded 2 of them leaving 5. 3 have NMC so that leaves 2. Nash and Marchand. I haven't seen parts 2 and 3 maybe those moves fix that problem.

I just looked at 2 and 3. It doesn't in fact it has Miller being selected in the expansion draft. So assuming they were pre expansion draft trades you just cost the B's Marchand or one hell of package of to get them not to take him. Oops.

Only way this scenario works is if the NJ deal is pre exp draft as Vegas would not take Miller over Subban or McQuaid. And Hayes and Beleskey moves are made post exp draft. So les go with that!

Can't see Car trading for Liles they are looking to move D man. As little as Beleskey has done I think you could get a little better return for him than that. A 3 and 5 in a weak draft isn't much. We gave up more for Stempniak who was a rental.

I'm a bit confused as to how that exposes Marchand as he also has a NMC? Moore and Hayes could be post-expansion, but pre-entry draft in order to maintain 2 FW eligible for draft.
