you're probably right on the asking price, but the jets still have Hutchinson to expose to the expansion draft and if they were to lose him to waivers trying to assign him to the AHL, they would only have to sign an AHL back up to a minimum NHL contract. They'll need a backup anyways

I didnt know that about a max of 50% being retained...good to know. What do you mean about Hellebuyck being selected over Hutch? You only need to expose 1 goalie
