In what world do we sign Ryan Suter to a 4 million dollar deal. At that price, keep Savard or sign someone like Martinez

Where’s the money for next year. Point needs a huge pay raise and players like Joseph, Stephens and most of your free agents need to get payed unless they are just as rentals.

There isn't a big gap between Martinez and Suter's level of play. Both are 2nd pair D.

A bunch of 1 year deals with Suter and Yandle not coming back



Martinez and Savard most likely want multiyear deals, we can only afford them for 1 year with Point's extension coming up. This is similar to the Shattenkirk and Bogosian situation 2 years ago, signing guys to 1 yr deals after getting bought out

McDonagh isn't going anywhere. Tampa will never attach a 1st and one of their better prospects to.move him. The price to move Johnson shouldn't cost more than a 1st and lower pick/prospect(Alnefelt should not be available). Palat should return at least a 2nd. No thanks to Suter at that price, and no thanks to Yandle at any price(he's terrible at this point).
