Description

Keith to Edmonton is probably going to happen, because Bowman wants to do him a solid. Chicago isn't going to take Neal, but Turris can be buried. I can't see a scenario, other than with Neal where the hawks don't eat salary. This deal kind of is probably as close to evening out the cap hit as it will get, but still saves Chicago more, so it will cost them a pick. The Hawks are in a corner with Keith indicating where he wants to go and it is on Bowman to make it work.

It is possible that the league goes back to a North Division the way Covid is trending in the US (and based on what's going on in the UK) so Canada`s borders won't be opened anytime soon and Keith wants to be able to spend time with his son in Canada.

I think one of Chicago's 2nds rather than a 3rd will be most likely the real transaction. We'll have to see how this plays out.

With Tarasenko, similar stuff, but the risk to Edmonton is massive if Tarasenko is done as an NHL player, something we are already going through with Klefbom. So James Neal must be part of this deal. Maybe another team has a better deal, but it is a massive risk and most GMs are not really risk-takers.

The Minnesota deal is so Minnesota doesn`t lose either Dumba and KK for nothing. Kassian is used in a subsequent trade with an Eastern team like Pittsburgh or NYR.

This can't be real, like think Before proposing this unfair, bs proposals

Wild very easily say no, & thus deal is beyond horrible, & totally one sided

1) Kaapo kahkonen will be protected, & the false reasonings that wild will lose this player, & that player needs to stop

2) a team loses one player ; not two

3) Wild aren't taking on that horrible contract, cap dump player who will never play on wild.

4) Edmonton pays to get rid of Zack K. Wild don't need it want a 3rd liner Winger who wild have better of, and cheaper off
