How good is this

two top 10 goalies, best LW, and 2nd best LD in the league, but almost nothing else. Might squeak into the playoffs on the backs of those guys but they’re not winning a round if they do. Probably a team I would recommend sell their stars and build around necas/zegras

No offense but I think you're delusional saying they have almost nothing for forwards, you've got Marchand who scored 69 points in 53 games, Josh Anderson, a big hulking forward who plays his position really well, Jamie Benn, who despite decent, takes up too much cap, and Vatrano adds a good depth scoring touch while you've got matt martin on the same line bringing a great physical presence.

Yeah, Marchand is the best LW in the league that I mentioned. Anderson had less points than Jason Spezza in the regular season, and had exactly 3 good games in the playoffs, he’s the definition of inconsistent. Benn is okay but he shouldn’t be your 2nd best forward. Motte is a 4th liner on the 2nd line, and Martin is a 4th liner on the 3rd line, because the depth kinda sucks. Vatrano is perfectly fine as a 3rd liner, but he’s not making or breaking this team. This forward group is extremely underwhelming, they have a 1LW, two 2Cs, two 3rd line wingers, 5 4th liners, and a couple young guys. On D the top pair is fine, Klefbom’s a good #3 if he ever plays again, but Russell is terrible, and Clifton isn’t great either. Haven’t heard much about Nutivaara recently but I feel like I’d prefer him as a #5 than a #4. Goalies are obviously both elite but only one of them can play every night.

That's a pretty underwhelming team. Goalies might carry them to a wild card spot, but they're not a threat to win anything.
