Description

I think I gave too much money to the lower end guys but ultimately the contract numbers don't matter.
Seattle is going to be in a great position if they can grab two of the higher end UFAs this offseason. Their team is going to be stacked on D, decent goaltending and a subpar offense. Bring in two of NUGE, Danault, Landeskog, Hall, Hamilton, etc. and they are going to be pretty good.
All the UFA guys are also young, Hall is the oldest at 29 so they won't have many bad years on any long term contracts.

I thought so too. But the flyers will lose a decent forward up front. It's Laughton, JVR, Lindblom or Patrick I think. I'd take any of those players and be happy.

I find it unlikely that Ottawa will leave Gustavsson unprotected. Seattle will have a much higher chance of choosing between Daccord, Murray, Forsberg and Hogberg if they want a goalie.

I thought they had to protect Murray. Either way, goaltending shouldn't be a problem for Seattle.
