Oilers wont trade their first round pick to dump cap. They will either use buy out or eat half and trade other picks/prospects besides the 1st rounder.
Holland has shown every year here he is very against trading 1sts at this time.

Blues don;t want an inferior LD back for Dunn. They have loads of guys there already.

So while i think these patrick or Dunn trades happen I wouldnt count out deals for them happening. Dunn fills a real need hes the right age and under team control. Patrick probably costs a 2nd rounder but I think is worth taking a shot at. If Philly wants ghost part of the deal id kick in another later pick and take him. Hell if they were willing to take less for JVR to dump his cap id be willing to listen.

Glad you signed Bert to a 1 year deal. Seems like everyone wants to hand him a multi-year contract and forgot he was injured for majority of the season.

I don’t think EDM will trade their 2022 1st, deeper draft. 2021 more likely. Reasonable trades (not perfect) for the most part though!




The main piece is the 2nd rounder. Cholo is just a throw in. Dunn might be worth a little more sure, but it’s whether STL wants to lose him for nothing to SEA or not

I agree, Detroit should offer the Washington pick straight up. Dunn is a very good fit in Detroit and the chance of getting anything better with the pick is small. Blues will lose him whatever they do so it'll be a win/win.
