Its so embarrassing. And i know we all complain about the isles getting no respect, but this is one of the reasons why. When trotz makes decisions like this what do you want from people.

and this is a lot different from the Dobson situation last season or bellows situation this season. Wahlstrom is producing and has carried the team in a bunch of games.

points per 60 min: 2nd
individual expected goals per 60 : 2nd
expected goals against per 60: 1st

Are we scratching eberle or barzal next? Wahlstrom has a similar impact with the ice time he's given. We don't know for sure if he's scratched tonight but id bet he is. It is embarrassing .Im surprised this doesn't get more media attention. Theyre all saying hes deserving of the jack Adams but does an elite coach scratch one of his best players when they have cup aspirations?

and I agree - the isles don't deserve respect when theyre putting komarov and zajac with their star center.

He looks good and has a bright future but half a season in and he's already top 5 player on this good team? Respectfully say that you are disrespecting a lot of good players with this claim.

He ranks 2nd in goals per 60, 2nd in points per 60, he has the best defensive metrics among isles forwards. I think ranking top 5 in most offensive and defensive categories warrants the “top 5 player” claim for this team.
