TRADES

Eichel - See @Devil1122's post for a deeper explanation, but Rangers dont lose anything they can't replace and they get JACK F*CKING EICHEL

Seattle - Howden isn't doing anything on the team, but he is still young and a former 1st round pick so I think they would take a chance on him (and if not we can throw in a late round pick)

Hajek - Hajek hasn't been good and won't be needed with the signing of Jones and if Jones isn't ready we Have Reunanen in the AHL

SIGNINGS

Buchnevich - Buch will drive a hard bargain given his production but I think he will accept that deal and deserves given not only his offensive performance but also defensive play

Chytil - Chytil has struggled in years past so that's why I think he won't get a huge deal and just get a bridge rather than locking him down for more years

Lindgren - Lindgren is a very good defensive defenseman and plays off of Fox really well so Rangers do what they need to do to keep him

Shesterkin - He is a top 10 Goalie in the league and deserves to be paid as such

Merril - Good depth guy and defensive player to slot in if there are injuries or players under performing

Cogliano - Good defense forward to help on the PK and bottom 6

Gauthier - Good player in his role and still has potential

LINES

Line 1 - Eichel and Panarin will be GODLY together and Kravtsov has looked great

Line 2 - Laf, Mika, and Buch played really well together when Panarin was out so keep the chemistry

Line 3 - Kreider and Chytil play well together and Blackwell adds some great scoring depth at a low cost

Line 4 - Cogliano is very good defensively and Barron and Gauthier can just play some easy minutes and given they are both power forwards should work well in a 4th line role

Pairing 1 - Lindgren and Fox are great together and should stay together

Pairing 2 - Miller and Lundkvist should play off each other really well being a small skilled player and a physical more defensive player

Pairing 3 - Following the same format of a Physical player and a small skilled one, I think that it will also be good for Jones to have a vet on his line
