Holland doesn’t want to add any depth type of players only looking at adding an impactful player at or before deadline. Not sure there is any deal to be had with red wings.

They were more so looking for a guy to play with Mcdavid and Draisaitl. The guy has to be on a contract or under team control too they don't want to spend assets on a rental.

This is an honest question...is Marc Staal above replacement value enough to spend any draft capital and extra salary on him? I don’t watch enough of the Wings to decipher between the underlying numbers being Staal or a bad team.
