If the Rangers got rid of DeAngelo, they’d probably be better, but time will indeed tell if this is a good move for the future. We shall see what happens next.

No they wouldn't because as terrible of a person that DeAngelo may be he was at least good offensively now we will get to see probably the worst pair in the league of Johnson-Smith. It is going to be very hard to win games with that pairing
