Kase will stay and he likely plays with DeBrusk and Krejci. Let them play together and build chemistry; they looked good in the playoffs. Studnicka will get a spot since 88 is out to start the season but after that, that's the question: Providence or 4th line?
Kase has 93% of his goals in the past three years at even strength. Smith, 73%. They can both get 20 (82 GP pace) if everyone on their lines play well. Bruins know they have had secondary scoring issues for years now so that's what they tried to address by bringing these two guys in over the past months. Cassidy said they will look to improve their 5on5 game and bringing players like Kase and Smith will help that. Highly unlikely Kase is moved now.
I was reluctant to put Studnicka on the 4th but if he's ready, go for it. It's better than almost any 4th liner they have.
Chara can't play top pair minutes anymore, at worst, he should be on the 2nd pair.
