I think JVR for Matheson and a 1st would be a good enough return. Not sure FLA would be too keen to give up two good young d-men.

Also find the Bozak deal to be interesting. I think the Caps are one of the few teams who could have a use for him and taking Laich back would yield a decent return.

What would be your asking price for Kadri or JVR from the Sharks in your rebuild? Keep in mind 1) the Sharks' cap situation and 2) the Sharks' 'win-now- mode, so the reluctance of trading away current impact players.

What do you think of Tierney, Chartier, and Dillon for Kadri or JVR?

For JVR I would be thinking something like Tierney, Dillion, and a 1st? Or you could turn that 1st into Goldobin. Given his contract I would expect a Kessel-ish return.

I wouldn't really want to trade Kadri at this point just because his trade value is so low. Would like to see one more year out of him, especially with better linemates.

I dont think Kadri will be traded and if he is it will be after this 1 year prove yourself contract.
I personally don't want to trade Kadri at all, when is the last time the leafs drafted a player who ended up as their number 1 center (for the time being)?
I wouldn't take any trade for JVR that doesn't include a first pick. Mark Hunter wants draft picks not prospects.

Ya I got a little greedy going for Gudbrason however I felt that adding polak and the 5th pick rounded of the trade nicely. It just that JVR contract is so damn good and polak could easily slot into Gudbrason RHD slot
