Nope, neither real nor the fake Jim Benning (me) will make that deal. Too many young players (and high draft picks) for OEL, when there is no way we can afford this on our cap. AZ will need to take back Loui Erikkson to make this even potentially palatable....and the 2022 pick is a 3rd...I want that 2nd round!!

OEL would be an interesting addition to the Canucks, but not at the risk of affecting signing Elias and Quinn to long term deals. Any deal with AZ, has to include them taking back a contract or two that bleeds over into the 2021-22 season (Loui, Jay, Antoine). Taking Sutter, Sven or Jordie does nothing tangible for our future.
