AZ will need to take back Loui Erikkson to make this even potentially palatable....and the 2022 pick is a 3rd...I want that 2nd round!!

OEL would be an interesting addition to the Canucks, but not at the risk of affecting signing Elias and Quinn to long term deals. Any deal with AZ, has to include them taking back a contract or two that bleeds over into the 2021-22 season (Loui, Jay, Antoine). Taking Sutter, Sven or Jordie does nothing tangible for our future.

Its literally trade for OEL and blow up your team. Play hard ball with Hughes and Petey.

I agree, that's why CapFriendly has the 'Long Term Outlook' button, people need to look at it before suggesting contracts which spill over into upcoming years and affecting your ability to sign the team's true core.

So my guess is OEL is not going anywhere? The best candidate for a trade for him is Boston in my opinion.
