Description

Trades might not be for 1st rounders but I could see those teams looking for players in those positions.. so why not and both those picks are 30 and 31 overall. Both teams want help now and not later.

Tierney would be a good third line center with more offence then kerfoot and OTT probably doesnt want to pay him 3.5 Probably giving up a little more or.. maybe less than a 2nd a B prospect

Cheep 2yr contracts to hold the blue line together until something better comes along. Both guys bring what the leafs are missing back there.

Thornton and Spezza probably play around 60-65 games each and rotate in with Rodrigues getting in 40 to 50 games.

Need a top pairing rhd but at least you're addressing some of the grit issues, and adding some actual depth on f instead of thinking top six will carry the team. Still some holes but probably headed in a better direction into building a winner rather than an all star team.

We are dumping those guys for Cap....they are worth late 2nd to early 3rd maybe......GMs arent all suffering from dementia ( you know where i am going with that one tho that trade wasnt even such fleece as all TML homers are yelling around cause PIT window is here for 2 more years only and 2020 1st + Hållander wont be ready to help inside that frame ), so they will squeeze you for late 3rd at best
