I see the logic, but it's going to cost more then that for us to take fleury, plus you aren't getting a pick back. If you trade him to a contender that would work for you, for a rebuild team like wings, it's gonna cost you. Dorofyev + 2021 njd 2nd for perlini/erne/bowey

I can understand the reluctance but everyone acting like Fleury is Lucic or Loui Eriksson is kind of ridiculous. Dorofeyev + 2nd and taking on a player contract is way too much. The best comparison is a 1st for Marleau to be bought out. Fleury can still be a starter (there was a reason it was a competition between Fleury and Lehner) which means he is worth more then a 4th line Marleau. I can see the NJD 2021 2nd added to make the above more palatable.
