My take on who might be available at the deadline

Yeah we don’t have much to offer at this year’s deadline. Maybe we pull another Ennis, sign a guy for cheap for one year to give him some playing time and raise his stock and deal him at the deadline

maybe we pick up a guy like Stepan with incentive and trade him at the deadline with retention. Could be nice. im hoping we pickup another 2021 1st somehow

Yeah another 2021 1st would be all we need for a rebuild to provide depth, we already have three 2021 2nds. Our main areas of need in terms of prospects are a 1C and a 1RW (solved with #3 and #5) and then we could use another guy with top 4 LD potential (Wallinder with the NYI 1st?). Other than that I reckon it’s mostly about adding depth (particularly on D, we have 3 good D prospects in Brannstrom/JBD/Thomson but it’s slim after that), and guys who might take a year or two to develop and then become high impact ELC players when we start having to pay people in 3 or 4 years

Byfield, Raymond, Wallinder/Barron and then one of Neighbours/Peterka/Foerster/Reichel with the Sens 2nd.
Next year hopefully we get one of Power, Clarke, Guenther, Raty, Edvinsson, Hughes etc
