Actually the original trade was Kreider + Pajuniemi + 2020 1st (Car) for Danault + Mete. The Habs need a scoring winger with size. Kreider would be the main piece but a 1 for 1 wouldn't work cause Danault is an elite 2 way center so the other pieces were added.
