Description
Some moves if Roy had his own way. Traded all the ROR pieces back for ROR and traded Soderberg for Radulov simply because he wouldn't have been signed and Rads would.

This is completely hypothetical and not what I really want to see. Just something to look at.

Trade would have really occurred with Boston back in summer of 15. Avalanche were apparently close on Hamilton. You have to think if Roy had FULL control he would have done whatever it took to get Hamilton. Definitely could have beaten the Calgary offer so I'm going to go with Duchene

This deal is only for cap space and is based off of Dater's recent tidbit about a falling out between Roy and Varlamov. Colorado would have shipped him to Toronto before Toronto got Andersen. Freddy the goat is a roy style player who played in the Q. Big, strong, fast and dumb. Gardiner isn't the type of D Avs fans drool over but he's a D nonetheless. Fit's into the Avs top 4 no doubt.

    The rumoured price for Hamilton was Bigras, 10th overall (Rantanen), and another piece and the rumoured deal for Drouin was 2 1st round picks, Kyle Wood, Nick Holden, and another un named prospect.

    ROR was traded bc he didnt want to be in Colorado, not that Sakic didnt want to resign him. SO either way that trade was happening

    Your analysis of Gauthier is incorrect. He's big, don't know if he strong, he is definitely not fast...in fact slow, and dumb, gee I don't think so. The reason he delayed playing in the Quebec Junior League was he was pondering a chance to go on scholarship to Harvard.

    Patrick Roy was outta his league as an NHL coach IMO. He couldn't bully players like he could in junior...when he was owner, GM and coach.
